Christmas Crafts
I love to paint special creations for Christmas. Some of my favorite tole paintings are of angels. This past Christmas I painted several resin angels. These delicate angels make great gifts and look perfect in any home decor. As you will see when you browse through my pictures, one of the angels comes with a tea light that changes color, to add a little soft lighting for ambiance.
I also hand painted 3 tall angels, which Gene cut from fence posts. Each holds a different instrument and can be sold separately, or as a set.
Slate Pieces
I love to paint on slate, which I purchase from our local salvage center, ADMAC. And I love to paint bears. Keep checking back, because I will be adding many more tole-painted slate pieces throughout the summer.
Signs
We have made several signs. Either Gene cuts the wood out, or I may paint on an antique panel or cabinet door. Since we live on a hill, overlooking a VT lake, many of our signs say things such as Welcome to the Lake, Welcome to the Northeast Kingdom, or Welcome to Vermont. But we have also taken special orders for house signs and welcome signs. If you want a sign to also have hooks or pegs on it, Gene works with me to make it the way you want it. If you browse my painted pieces, you will see some of the welcome signs I have painted.
